Our Central Florida legacy.

For more than seven decades, Morehouse Men in Greater Orlando have built community around a shared commitment to brotherhood, education, leadership, service, and the advancement of Morehouse College. The chapter is a local chapter of the Morehouse College National Alumni Association and a proud member of MCNAA Region II, which spans Florida, the Virgin Islands, and The Bahamas.

Our history in Central Florida reaches back to the early 1950s. Across generations, the chapter has connected alumni, supported students, promoted Morehouse, and maintained a visible alumni presence in the Orlando region.

The Orlando to Morehouse Pipeline.

A cornerstone of the chapter’s mission is sustaining the Orlando to Morehouse Pipeline. Through relationships with local institutions, businesses, civic organizations, schools, families, and supporters, the chapter creates pathways that encourage educational advancement, professional growth, mentorship, and community empowerment.

This work honors the chapter’s long history while helping future generations of Central Florida students see Morehouse as both an attainable destination and a lifelong network of support.

What we do.

Our work centers on ten core program areas: college recruitment, scholarships and financial aid, student mentorship, community service, alumni networking, professional development, fellowship, financial giving to Morehouse College, alumni recruitment, and volunteer engagement with the College.

The relaunch.

This new era of the Greater Orlando chapter is about restoring an active, visible, intergenerational Morehouse alumni presence in Central Florida. We are reconnecting alumni across class years, strengthening the Orlando-to-Morehouse student pipeline, rebuilding partnerships, and creating a chapter experience that reflects both the history of Morehouse and the needs of today’s alumni.

Morehouse is not simply where we went to college. It is a lifelong brotherhood and a responsibility to those who come after us.

Our local work connects to a national alumni tradition that dates to 1900. Through MCNAA and Region II, Greater Orlando alumni are part of a worldwide network committed to supporting Morehouse College, its students, and the ideals the institution represents.
